Living Roofs

On all of our builds we can add a sedum roof which We think that they look fantastic but also make the pod more insulated and is also great for wildlife. Sedum roofs need very little maintenance and unlike grass roofs, they do not need cutting.

Sedum is a large genus of flowering plants which are commonly known as stonecrops. The genus has been described as containing up to 470 species. They are leaf succulents and are found primarily in the Northern Hemisphere, but extending into the Southern Hemisphere in Africa and South America.  The plants vary from annual and creeping herbs to shrubs. The plants have water-storing leaves. The flowers usually have five petals.

Use Your Own Timber

Quite often when we are asked to build our pods there are trees that have to be felled to make room for the actual build itself, for access or for services such as soakaways.

we can use this timber and incorporate this into the build. We can use a mobile sawmill to process the timber into products we can use inside and outside.

We think this makes your pods that extra bit special and cuts down on transport and production costs as well as being really eco-friendly.
